About LumioUI

LumioUI is a React Native component library where the motion is already done. It's made by Sidian Labs, a small product studio in India, and launched in October 2026.

Why it exists

Most React Native apps feel static because good motion takes days per component: tuning springs, adding haptics, handling Reduce Motion, keeping it at 60fps on a mid-range Android phone. We kept rebuilding the same pieces for every app, so we made them once, properly, and put the source in your hands.

You install a component with one command and the code is copied into your project. There's no runtime package to upgrade around, and nothing stops you changing a spring or a colour.

How we build and test it

  • One motion system. Every spring and duration comes from a shared set of tokens, so a sheet, a toast and a switch move like they belong to the same app.
  • Reduce Motion everywhere. When it's on, movement drops out and the feedback (colour, opacity, haptics) stays.
  • Accessible by default. Roles, states and labels are set on every interactive element, and touch targets are at least 44 points.
  • Tested on the React Native you actually run. Before each release, every component and screen is installed into a fresh create-expo-app project on the latest Expo and React Native and typechecked.
  • Reviewed in light and dark. Changes are checked as screenshots in both themes before they ship.

How it's paid for

The free components stay free. Pro components and screens fund the work, as a subscription or a one-time lifetime licence; see pricing. Code you've installed stays yours if you stop paying.
